A Time For Healing is a family practice run by husband and wife team Chantal and Nicholas Bement LMT. Chantal opened A Time For Healing in August of 2012, and Nick joined in October of 2015. They now proudly share the practice as a platform to apply their knowledge of how to nourish the body and mind to promote health and vitality. A Time For Healing is licensed as a Multiple Massage Therapist Establishment, and Chantal and Nick Bement LMT are both Licensed Massage Therapists by the Professional Licensure Board of the state of Massachusetts. Chantal and Nick are both insured by the American Massage Therapy Association.
Chantal’s path to wellness began by studying philosophy, psychology, religion, and nutrition at the University of Colorado. She then studied herbal medicine, sustainability, yoga, and perception at Naropa University. This sparked a deep desire to help people to enjoy good health and inspire them to take care of the world around them. Chantal knew then that her life’s work would be wellness, and moved to Earthhaven Ecovillage while studying herbal medicine at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism. She then studied massage therapy at the Cortiva Institute, and has since expanded her base of knowledge and techniques with continuing education classes such as Prenatal Massage, Thai Bodywork, Hot Stone Massage, Acupressure, and Reiki. She studied Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra at Kripalu and yoga at Prana Power Yoga. Chantal actively pursues a healthy, well-rounded, active, mindful, and joyous life, and her greatest passion is helping other people enjoy the same. She is deeply invested in healing and is committed to continuously expanding her knowledge and ability to care for others.
Chantal is currently offering Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Therapeutic Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Relaxation Massage, Prenatal Massage, Self Massage Instruction, Reiki Energy Healing, Guided Meditation, and Private Yoga Instruction.
Nick’s passion for massage is driven by an athletic understanding of body and how it moves. A born athlete, his years of sports and exercise have given him an understanding of exercise science, muscle imbalance, injury, chronic pain, exercise wellness needs, and daily aches. His athletic background includes experience with hockey, soccer, football, basketball, weight lifting, running, yoga, and calisthenics. Nick studied massage therapy at the Cortiva Institute, and has expanded his knowledge with continuing education in Thai Bodywork, and ACE Personal Training. He believes in the necessity of an established wellness routine for a healthy active lifestyle, and takes care of himself so that he can take of his clients. Nick wants to helps every client enjoy their lives pain free by sculpting sessions that focus and accomplish exactly what the client needs.
Nick is currently offering Deep Relaxation Massage, Therapeutic Massage, and Sports Massage.
